How to use saved reports in map view
Through the platform, administrators can run reports on travel and itinerary tracking data, intelligence alerts and facilities locations, and deliver them in an easy-to-view layout within the platform, or directly to the email inbox of platform administrators according to a set schedule. On the, there are already some “Favourite reports” available to administrators, designed to click once and run, or schedule a regular “Favourite” report if required. Administrators can create their own custom reports to support their company’s areas of interest, as well as share these reports with other administrators of the platform.
Favourite Reports
To run a Favourite report, simply click on it, and a new tab will open displaying the search results. From here, you can download the report in .csv file format, or by clicking Report Details, you can create a schedule for a report.
Back in Map View of the Analytics tool, clicking “Edit” against a Favourite report will again open a new tab, although it will now display the details of the pre-set Favourite report. Clicking on Criteria and Output Fields will show what information will be collected in the report, and in what columns it will be presented. Clicking “Copy” will duplicate the existing report and enable you to add or remove Criteria or Output Fields to customize the selected report.
Clicking “Run Now” will show the report results and provide options to “Download Results” in .csv file format or return “Back to Index” to view all Favourite report options.
Schedule a Report
After clicking the “Details” button for a Favourite report, select the “Report Schedule” tab now viewable, then click “Create.”
Complete the required fields including frequency and a start date and time. Compose a bespoke email that will deliver the automated reports to the specified mailboxes. You can specify which addresses should receive the report, whether addressed in the To: CC: or BCC: lines. Once selected, click the “Save” button at the top right corner. The view will then return to the starting details page, where you are provided the option to run the report or select the “Back to Index” option of the My Reports area.
Active Schedules
You can view all active schedules in the My Reports section of the platform or under the “Scheduled” tab in the Analytics tool in Map View.
To amend the schedule of Favourite reports, you simply need to click “Edit” for the active scheduled report, which will open the Details page.
You can also select the “Report Schedule” tab where the options to Edit or Delete are now viewable.
Clicking Edit will open the page to schedule a report. Clicking the “Delete” button will open a new window to confirm the delete schedule request.
