SOS Notifications

How can I be immediately notified when someone has used the SOS button on the mobile app?

An automated email and/or SMS notification can be sent immediately from the platform when a user hits the SOS button in the mobile app.

In order to set this, administrators can add an email address and phone number (including international dialling code) against a usergroup. This means when any user in that usergroup hits the SOS button in the app, the automated notifications will be sent out.

  1. Navigate to the Administration Area from Map View
  2. Click on "Usergroups"
  3. Select the relevant usergroup
  4. Enter the email contact details or phone numbers (phone numbers must include the international dialling code and no other symbols, example +441122334455); click the "+" button to add the respective contact details one at a time
  5. Click "Save" once completed.
