How can I be immediately notified when someone has used the SOS button on the mobile app?
An automated email and/or SMS notification can be sent immediately from the platform when a user hits the SOS button in the mobile app.
In order to set this, administrators can add an email address and phone number (including international dialling code) against a usergroup. This means when any user in that usergroup hits the SOS button in the app, the automated notifications will be sent out.
- Navigate to the Administration Area from Map View
- Click on "Usergroups"
- Select the relevant usergroup
- Enter the email contact details or phone numbers (phone numbers must include the international dialling code and no other symbols, example +441122334455); click the "+" button to add the respective contact details one at a time
- Click "Save" once completed.
